I have been reading some of this guy's works lately, and he's great. A bit sappy at times, but good.

He writes the Lost series, which is probably the best to start on. A lot of his books tie in to each other.
Check it out!

Cartoon Wars-Gunner is an awesome game where you play as a stick figure that runs back and forth on the screen using upgradeable weapons to fight of the ever fiercer hordes of baddies. This game is tons of fun for an ounce worth of pennies!!!

Fantastic contraptions is a physics based game where you make cars using tools to build them. It is extremely fun and I would recommend this game to just about anyone!
It's $2.99 at the app store so go check it out if you are a fan of this genre of games or just want to waste some time. You can also post your created levels online for the world to play. I like posting extremely hard ones and seeing if anyone can solve them:D
I'd rate it about 9.9/10

It all begins in Middle Earth with a ring. A simple little ring that Bilbo Baggins found in the book the Hobbit. Bilbo goes off to see the elves and gives the ring to his nephew Frodo. Frodo years later learns that the ring is the dark lord Sauron's ring of power, and that if he gets it, he will destroy all that is good in the world of Middle Earth. Therefore Frodo leaves his home with a few friends to go to the elven city of Rivendell, but they are chased by riders clothed in black. On their jouney they meet a man called Strider (who's real name is Aragorn). They eventually reach Rivendell and a counsel is held to determine what to do with the ring. In the end the cousel agrees that the only way to destroy the ring and to free Middle Earth from Sauron's malace is to destroy the ring in the fires of the volcano Mount Doom, (which very inconveniantly happens to be in the middle of the dark lord's land). Frodo then sets out to do this quest with nine companions, who form the Fellowship of the Ring. They travel through the mines of Moria, where they lose one of their compains. The fellowship is later broken when one of them wants the power of the rings for himself. Frodo leaves with his faithful servant Sam to destroy the ring. Boromir (the one who wanted the ring) redeemed himself by sacrificing his life trying to save two of the fellowship who are captured by the Uruk-Hai (forces of one of the dark lord's hinch men). The remaining three, seeing that Frodo has decided to go on without them, follow the Uruk-Hai to rescue their friends.
